Early Signs of Employee Departure

“Employee Retention” is a hot topic in many HR circles, and it’s no surprise that techniques to identify early warning signs are popular. Itai Lahan has a lightweight but effective system of monitoring an employee’s LinkedIn site:

“… move to DEFCON 2 whenever someone has updated their Linkedin profiles. DEFCON 4 if they updated their specialties. DEFCON 5 if they start sending and (reciprocally) receiving recommendations.”

Of course, we recommend combining a pro-active approach like this with a great HRMS like Tribe, but we’re a little biased.
