David Skok, Partner at Matrix Partners
David’s work as a value added investor is best known for helping JBoss take its Open Source business to a successful exit with its sale to Red Hat, and for helping AppIQ, Tabblo and Diligent Technologies, which have all had successful exits, from their inceptions to their acquisitions by HP and IBM. David serves on the boards of CloudBees, CloudSwitch, Digium (makers of the very popular Asterisk Open Source PBX/telephony software), Enservio, HubSpot, OpenSpan, Solidworks, and VideoIQ.

In addition to his broad focus on enterprise software, David is specifically focused on the areas of cloud computing, Open Source, Software as a Service (SaaS), marketing automation, virtualization, storage, and data center automation. Jennifer Lum, Entrepreneur & Investor
Jennifer Lum is an Entrepreneur, Startup Mentor and Angel Investor. Jennifer is a co-founder of Apricot Capital and is a mentor at TechStars and 500 Startups. Jennifer has been in the mobile industry since 2005 and was a core team member of Quattro Wireless (acquired by Apple) and m-Qube (acquired by VeriSign). As Vice President of Advertising Operations at Quattro, Jennifer was responsible for running the mobile ad network. At Apple, she focused on the launch and operations iAd. Prior to Quattro, Jennifer was the Director of Business Operations of VeriSign’s Digital Content and Messaging business. She joined VeriSign through its acquisition of m-Qube where she was Chief of Staff. Jennifer started her career in Toronto, where she was an early employee at WebHosting.com (acquired by SBC Communications) and also worked with Canada’s top financial services and technology companies as a management consultant.

Cameron Hay, Executive in Residence at Communitech
Cameron Hay is a Technology Entrepreneur and Executive in Residence at Communitech, where he acts as an advisor to early stage technology companies. Prior to joining Communitech, Cameron was President & CEO of Unitron – a global hearing healthcare company with sales in over 70 countries around the world. Under Cameron’s leadership, Unitron became the fastest growing company in its industry. Since joining Constant Contact in 2001, Eric has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth. He built the direct sales, channel sales, educational programs and business development departments from the ground up. David Crow is a creative technologist and a technical marketer. David helps early stage companies understand emerging technologies, business models, and design practices to create compelling experiences. David has also lead grassroots entrepreneurial community efforts in Toronto including founding StartupNorth and hosting events DemoCamp, Founders & Funders and StartupCamp. Previously at Microsoft, he advised emerging companies with product-market fit and go-to-market strategies, along with providing access to software, support, and visibility through BizSpark. Prior to joining Microsoft, David led product design, marketing, business development and corporate strategy for start-ups in Toronto, and Austin, TX. He has a Masters from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo.
